Sanita Puspure Finishes Sixth In Rowing World Cup II With A Strong International field
Sanita Puspure finished a very promising 6th in today's Final of World Cup II, Aiguebelette, France. This is the pre-cursor to next year's World Championship regatta.
The final was dominated by New-Zealands Emma Twigg and Chinese sculler and Duan Jingli. Twigg is unbeaten this year, having taken 1st place at World Cup I in Sydney earlier this year.
Sanita who won a bronze medal at the European Championships three weeks ago is coming back from the illness that plagued her in 2013 and is still returning to full fitness.
Despite this she is posting her best results to date and is looking forward to pursuing a strong campaign for Rio in 2016.
