ISA supports Colلiste UISCE National Scholarship Scheme
ISA Training Centre, Colلiste UISCE offers €15,000 worth of scholarships

In partnership with the ISA, Colلiste UISCE has launched a National Scholarship Scheme to promote sailing and windsurfing through the Irish language. Colلiste UISCE is offering scholarships worth €15,000 on 2010 Gaeltacht Easter and Summer courses. The scholarships are open to students, from 6th Class through to 6th Year, nationwide.

ISA Training Manager Tony Wright explained: "Colلiste UISCE is the only Irish College to hold accreditation as an ISA Training Centre and we are delighted to support this exciting new initiative."

As an ISA Training Centre, Colلiste UISCE adheres to standards of safety, instruction and equipment, and is inspected annually by the ISA. With over 15 years experience in providing safe and enjoyable activity courses, Colلiste UISCE is ideal, for children and teenagers alike, to spend 2 weeks submerged in the Irish language, experiencing watersports.

Wright continued "In addition to experiencing water sports and hopefully building a positive attitude towards the Irish language and the outdoors, successful participants will also receive an internationally recognised ISA certificate."

Dلithي س Sé, a judge on The All Ireland Talent Show and proud Gaelgَir, recently helped launched the scheme and took the opportunity to try windsurfing and sailing with two members of the UISCE team.
