ROWING Irish Rowers to compete at FISA World Cup Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland this weekend
Rowing Ireland has three crews competing at this weekend's international rowing federation (FISA) World Cup regatta which takes place in Lucerne, Switzerland this weekend.
Olympian Sean Casey will compete in the men's single sculls. After a solid block of training since the Banyoles FISA cup regatta, Sean will test himself against the world's best including 2009 Diamond Sculls winner Mahe Drysdale from New Zealand.
Two crews are entered in the women's lightweight double sculls. Orla Hayes, a silver medal winner at last year's University Games, teams up with Heather Campbell from Queen's University Boat Club, whilst Sheila Clavin from St. Michaels pairs up with Dympna Kelly from Carrick on Shannon.
