  • 12km Family Spin
  • 40km Tara Loop
  • 100km Royal Tour
  • 160km Royal Challenge

Entry is available online at www.meathsports.ie or by contacting Meath LSP's office on 046-9067337. There are discounted rates available for OAP's/Unemployed and Cycling Ireland members. Closing date for online entry is 14th July. The event is part of the An Post Cycle Series and is organised by Meath Local Sports Partnership in association with the Irish Sports Council. Over 1,500 cyclists are expected to participate in this year's tour. The local Society of St. Vincent de Paul is the nominated charity for the event.

Over 200 volunteers will be needed on the day to 'man' junctions, give directions, provide refreshments and most of all give much needed encouragement to cyclists along the route. If you are interested in helping out in this countywide event contact Ruairi or Aine at 046-9067337. To add to the atmosphere of the An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour, the French/European Artisan Market will set up stalls at the start/finish areas just in front of Trim Castle. Access to the market is free of charge. So come along and support the cyclists on Sunday July 24th and enjoy the festival atmosphere. For further details see www.meathsports.ie or contact Meath LSP on 046-9067337.

The Meath Local Sports Partnership is an initiative of the Irish Sports Council.
