Portugal hosting February 2014 Training camp
A unique opportunity to attend a full modern pentathlon training camp from 10-15 February 2014 in Portugal is being offered by the Portuguese Modern Pentathlon Federation.
The world class facilities of the Barcelos Sports Complex in the north of Portugal, where 50 horses are available for training purposes, will be the perfect place for final preparations for pentathletes from all over the world before the season gets going in earnest next year.
Dr Manuel Barroso, President of the Portuguese Modern Pentathlon Federation, set out his vision, “The implementation of a training camp and competition in this world class structure aims to get top athletes to come together in pre-competition period. It will be a unique opportunity to improve performance in the disciplines of fencing and riding”.
