Mark Rohan emulated his Round One World Cup double gold medal performance in the 2nd Round of the World Cup in Sergovia, Spain over the weekend. He won his Gold medals in  the Time Trial and the HI Road Race. The Road race win ensures that Mark is the overall champion as he cannot be caught with only one round remaining in Canada next month.

Further medal winning performances were Catherine Walsh and Fran Meehan winning Gold in the Time Trial by 20 seconds  and Colin Lynch, Silver, narrowly missing the gold by 0.4 seconds in the C2 category.

Mark Rohan and Catherine Walsh received grants of €40,000 each under the 2011 International Carding Scheme.
