Gold Medal In European Cadet Championships

Last month saw three members of the National Junior Team (Conor Grassick, Nathan Whelan & Jake Concannon) compete in the Junior European Championships in Trellborg Sweden.

Conor fought Montenegro and Russia placing him in the top 16 in Europe, Nathan fought UK and Belarus placing him in the top 16 in Europe and Jake fought Sweden placing him in the top 16 in Europe.

This (Weekend) month also saw three members National Cadet Team (Lee McInerney, Sean McConnell & Colin McConnell) compete in the Cadet European Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, where Lee fought Hungary and Greece placing him in the top 16 in Europe,

Colin McConnell fought UK placing him in the top 16 in Europe, however the greatest result was by Sean McConnell who fought his way to GOLD beating; Belgium, Turkey, France, Bosnia and Croatia making him the European Champion...No.1 in Europe!
