Mark English & Paul Robinson Target Fast End of Season Times

Mark English (UCD AC) and Paul Robinson (St. Cocas AC) will continue their 2013 Track and Field seasons this weekend with races in Brussels and Rieti respectively.

Robinson will compete in the 800m in the final diamond league meeting of 2013 in Brussels on Friday, 6th of September. He will then travel on to Rieti in Italy to contest the 1500m on Sunday the 8th of September.

English will also be in action in Rieti as he competes over his favoured 800m distance. English ran a stunning 1:44.84 at the diamond league meet in London on the 26th of July. The time was only two one hundredths of a second outside the national record of 1.44.82 held by David Mathews. If the conditions and pace is right on Sunday, English has the ability to surpass the 18 year old Irish record.
