Magee Becomes Most Capped Ireland International

Irish midfielder Eugene Magee today became the most capped player in history of Irish Men's Hockey following his appearance vs. Fiji today. Magee was level on 163 caps before today's game with previous record holder Stephen Butler who retired in March 2010. Eugene has scored 38 goals in his 164 appearances for the Green Machine and made his debut v Belgium in Dublin in 2005. Magee currently plays his Hockey in Germany with Krefeld Hockey Club having previously represented Banbridge Hockey Club.
