Jack Watson RIP

It is with great sadness that Sport Ireland has learned of the passing of Jack Watson MBE, who died this morning after a short illness. 

Sport Ireland would like to extend our deepest sympathy to his wife Rea, sons Paul and Alan and all his extended family and friends during this difficult time. 

Jack was an advocate for clean sport and was a long-standing and valued member of the Sample Collection Personnel team of Sport Ireland since 2006. Jack was also a member of the Sample Collection Personnel team for UK Anti-Doping. 

Jack will be sorely missed by all in Sport Ireland’s Anti-Doping Unit and his Sample Collection Personnel colleagues.
