It's a long, long way to Tipperary........

17 Oct 2013

The club has an excellent blend of juvenile and senior players who mix in a warm, social and competitive environment giving players plenty of opportunity for match play. Country Club Tipperary has produced a number of players who have gone on to represent Munster. The club members were pleased to find out about the Teicnic Badminton Program and Shuttle Time courses which can be used to further develop the club structure and to develop coaches who can keep the club moving in the right direction.

A big thank you to Monty and Triona Franks for being such great hosts and to Patricia Cullen, John McCabe, Eoin Wall, Hazel Delahunt, Donal Hogan, and James Christie for taking the time out of their evening to go through all the information received in the club pack. A number of players in the club expressed an interest in getting into coaching to support the juvenile section of the club which meets on Friday evenings so hopefully we will be able to run a Shuttle Time course in the area in the coming months.
