ISC: ISC CEO Pays Tribute to Late Mr. Seamus Brennan T.D.

It was with much sadness that we learnt of the untimely death of our former Minister Séamus Brennan T.D. this morning. On behalf of all at the Irish Sports Council I wish to express our deepest sympathies to his wife and children, extended family, many friends and colleagues.

Though his stay in sport was short he covered a lot of ground in that time, met with very many people at the coalface of Irish sport, and showed us great support and leadership throughout his time in office. His dedication to his Ministry, and his innate determination was obvious to all of us who met him, and we are all the richer for his contribution.
