Irish u19 European Circuit Event

Mexican Garido Ramon seeded number one in the boys singles is comfortably through to tomorrow's quarter finals. Along with number two seed Wolfgang Gnedt (Austria). Euan Watson (Scotland) continues to progress along with Irish Players Azher Syed, Norman Lau, Ryan Getty, Mark Brady and Donall O'Leary.

Through to the girls singles quarter finals are Irish players Alannah Stephenson, Megan Bredin, Rebecca Getty, Ciara Dwyer, Fionnuala McCourt and Rachael Darragh. In the mix are the two Mexican players Gaitan Haramara and Sobrina Solis.

The boys doubles quarter finals are an all Irish affair with number one seeds Jonathan Harron/Ryan Stewart and number two seeds Mark Brady/Nicholas Murphy on course to meet in the final.

Number one seeds Keady Smith/Alannah Stephenson (Ireland) start their campaign tomorrow with a likely final date with number two seeds Sara Boyle/Rachael Darragh (Ireland) in the girls doubles.

Mixed doubles quarte finals take place tomorrow with the number one seeds Ryan Stewart/Keady Smith (Ireland) on course to meet Mark Brady/Fionnuala McCourt (Ireland) in the final.

Play starts at 10am tomorrow Saturday at the Baldoyle Badminton Centre - and also finals start on Sunday 10am. Entry is free to all so come along to watch some great games.
