Tim Murtagh hit 10 runs from two balls in the last over of the match to see Ireland home by the tightest of margins over Scotland in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship match today at Belfast.

Ireland collapsed from 95 for 0 to 146 for 7 and looked in deep trouble chasing Scotland’s 223 but a late order effort including 31 from Max Sorensen, 24 from Trent Johnston and crucially 23 not out from Tim Murtagh saw Ireland home.
