The start of Ireland’s fifth match of the World Twenty 20 against Italy in Abu Dhabi has been delayed due to rain.

Consistent light rain continued to fall from before the scheduled start time of 6am Irish time.

Umpires will be inspecting at 8am Irish time, with overs already being reduced at this point.
