Ireland 1 Wales 0

15 May 2014

Ireland's Green Machine secured another win in the 4 Nations taking place in Barcelona at present. Ireland put one goal past the Welsh this morning in the 30th minute thanks to the finishing abilities of marksman Shane O'Donoghue after great combination work from Ronan Gormley and Mitch Darling who set O'Donoghue up.

Ireland had a fantastic opportunity to make it two but Shane O'Donoghue's penalty stroke was denied by the post. Ireland went on to press for the final quarter but couldn't capitalise on any further chances and closed out the game with a 1-0 win.

Ireland won their first match against Russia on Tuesday in a thrilling 5-3 game and will play hosts, Spain tomorrow at 11am before flying home on Saturday.
