The Institute of Sport is delighted announce details surrounding their 2012 ‘Pursuit of Excellence Programme’. The programme offers a diverse array of supports to high performance coaches who represent Ireland at world level competitions. The support offered to coaches includes individual grant aid to support sport specific learning, access to an experienced mentor and the opportunity to attend cutting edge training events. In November 2011, the Institute created two new coach support programmes. This change was informed through a comprehensive review of the 2011 programme which indicated the need to redesign the current coach support offering.
