HSE Community Games May Festival of Sport

A spectacular Festival of Sport & Cultural Activities for children aged 6-16 will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May in Mosney, courtesy of the HSE Community Games.

3,000 children, hand picked from all 32 counties will converge on Mosney to take part in the Games from sports to painting extravaganzas, competitions galore in Story-telling and Folklore, in Singing and in Dancing.

The aim of the Festival is to give children the chance to try out a number of different sports and fun activities, make new friends and enjoy a more active and healthy life style over the weekend.

Through the HSE Rapid areas programme 200 Free Places have been offered to children from disadvantaged areas around the country to boost participation in the HSE Community Games, and to give children who have never been to Mosney, an opportunity to participate.
