HSE Community Games August National Finals 2012

The HSE Community Games August National Finals 2012 will take place this coming weekend on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August and the following weekend on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August in Athlone Institute of Technology, Athlone, Co Westmeath.

• On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August, Nearly 2,500 Children from 31 Counties will participate in sporting activities including; Gymnastics, Swimming, Gaelic Football, Soccer, Tennis, Pitch & Putt Volleyball, Olympics Handball, Hockey, Skittles, Cycling, Judo, and Variety - type of drama, dance and music competition.
• On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August, Nearly 3,000 Children from 31 Counties will participate in sporting activities including; Athletics Track and Field, Basketball, Rugby, Futsal, Hurling, Camogie, and Rounder's.
• Over 200,000 young people from across Ireland take part in the HSE Community Games per year, making it an essential part of the Irish year.
