Eventing - Ireland In Overnight Silver Medal Position At Junior European Championships

Team Ireland is today in Silver medal position after dressage on 132.8 penalties at the European Junior Eventing Championships at Bishop Burton in England.

The British team is currently in gold medal position on 129.2 penalties, while Germany is in overnight bronze on 134.1.

Saturday sees the cross country phase take place, with final places being decided in Sunday's show jumping phase.

Best of the Irish is 17 year-old Cathal Daniels, who lies in fifth place individually on 41.9 penalties after dressage.
