Eventing - Ennis Third, Glynn Fourth At Tattersalls Three Star
Going clear in the show jumping phase of Tattersalls three-star class today (Sunday) moved Ireland's Sarah Ennis up to third place at the finish, with another clear from Ciaran Glynn giving Ireland a fourth place.
Ennis, riding the Irish Sport Horse Stellor Rebound, completed on her dressage score of 47.4 but was unable to catch Britain's Izzy Taylor with Allercombe Ellie, who took the Irish Field trophy, also on her dressage score of 41 penalties.
Second place went to Britain's Louise Harwood on the Irish Sport Horse Whitson with 46.6.
Fourth-placed Glynn piloted another Irish Sport Horse, Killossery Jupiter Rising, and went clear in both cross country and jumping, improving by two places at the finish today on a score of 50.4.
Only six combinations managed clear rounds on the Tattersalls three-star show jumping course.
Tattersalls International Horse Trials were held in association with Horse Sport Ireland.
