Limerick High Performance Triathlon Coach

Triathlon Ireland is looking for a person to act as the High Performance Coach in our Limerick Centre of Excellence based at the University of Limerick.
It is an incredible opportunity to help develop the systems and services of our High Performance Programme at a Regional Centre and be a part of the infrastructure to improve our medal winning opportunities at Elite International level.


This position is an exciting new role for a highly motivated person with the ability to work with the programme and develop a squad of triathletes with medal potential at International competitions and particularly in the Olympic Games. It is an outstanding opportunity to be a leading part of TI's High Performance system and athlete development.
The key performance measures for the role will be based around achieving the Performance Programme KPIs.


The post will require a person who can maximise what is currently a modest budget to best effect. It is a role that subject to funding could develop under the right candidate to a full time position but is being advertised in the first instance as a part time.
The post is currently being offered on a part time basis of 16 hrs per week.


Remuneration for this exciting opportunity is between €17k-€20K, plus reasonable expenses, depending on experience.

Paratriathlon Lead Coach

Triathlon Ireland is looking for a person to lead the development of the Paratriathlon Programme for Ireland.
It is an incredible opportunity to develop a programme from a blank canvas and make a real difference to the sport of triathlon and in particular paratriathlon. The successful applicant will have to develop the long-term strategy, design and build a programme to deliver that strategy and implement the programme.


Paratriathlon has been accepted into the Paralympic programme with the debut event in Rio 2016. This position is an exciting new role for a highly motivated person with the ability to develop a programme and squad of paratriathletes with medal potential at International competitions and particularly in the Paralympic Games.
