Lithuanian Gediminas Bagdonas (An Post Sean Kelly) successfully defended the Yellow Jersey for six days to win the 2011 An Post Ras at the end of the final stage in Skerries. Ably supported by the An Post Sean Kelly team, this victory, after eight grueling stages, is the biggest of Bagdonas's career. The leading points classification (Green Jersey) was won by Shane Archbold from New Zealand. The King of the Mountains was won by Olexandr Sheydyk from the Ukraine. The White Jersey, sponsored by the Irish Sports Council, for the leading U/23 rider was won by Aaron Gate from New Zealand.
