BI Awards Countdown
One of the major highlights of the Badminton calendar, the Annual Awards night 2013, is confirmed for Saturday 7th December, 2013. We are delighted to be returning to the Dublin Airport Hilton Hotel, and excellent accommodation rates will be available for members.
The BI Awards evening is an excellent opportunity to recognise and award contributions made by clubs and individuals across Ireland. The evening aims to bring all members of badminton Ireland together and celebrate a fantastic year for Irish Badminton.
With less than one month to go until nominations close, it is now more important than ever to submit your nominations for who you believe would be a worthy winner of a BI Award. Is there one or more members of your club who have achieved great things this year? If so we want to hear about it and nominating them for an award is the best way to do this. Players, coaches, officials and volunteers work all year long so if you know of someone who deserves an award for their achievements let us know and maybe they will be shortlisted for the 2013 Ceremony. There will be one National winner in each of the following categories:
Technical Official of the year
No entries after 5pm on November 7th 2013 will be accepted due to the selection process of winners. More information on specific awards can be found on the nomination forms. All nominations should be sent to membership@badmintonireland.com.
