Irish Results Day 5 - Wed 28th Aug

Mary Cullen did not qualify for the 5000 m Final when finishing 11th in her Semi-Final heat in a time of 15.40.53 secs. Her time was overall 19th with the first five in each heat and the 5 fastest losers qualifying for the Final.

David Gillick finished 6th in his Semi- Final heat of the 400m behind heat winner the current Olympic and World Champion, Jeremy Wariner. David’s time was 15th of the 24 semi-finalists. 

Paul Hession finished 6th in his 200m heat in a time of 20.50secs. Unfortunately as only the first four in each of the 2 Semi-Final heats he did not qualify for the Final. Paul's time was 12th of the 16 semi-finalists.
